The Great Memorial Book of Art and Faith
Workpoint Publishing proudly present, Ganesha, the collection book of the deity Ganesh’s images by a Thai artist, Rachan Seangthong. The artist who first intended to paint the deity’s images for worshiping his lord then these images have sprung the collection of exquisite and unique images. These images blended the ancient style with abstract-modern style together. The book, moreover, is bilingual book easier to read for foreigners.
Ganesha or Ganesh, called Phra Phikanesuan in the Thai language, is considered the great patron of all arts and sciences, inspiring success and removal of all obstacles. He is the great deity of wealth and wisdom. He brings light to those who worship him. In the legend of the gods, Ganesh received the blessing from Shiva:
“Those who wish to perform any business and need to worship a god must worship Ganesh, the Son of Shiva, prior to worshiping Shiva of the Three Worlds.”

From the faith, many branches of arts and sciences have sprung into reality. The collection of Ganesh’s images by the artist Rachan Seangthong, the Thai famous artist who only paints Ganesh and hindu gods.
At first, the artist, Rachan Seangthong resolutely presented his worship to Ganesh, 108 names of the deity, by painting the picture with his heart. He created Ganesh in various postures that were simply dazzling and beautiful. Some postures are lovely, some are gentle and some are solemn and full of faith. Although each picture shows different moods, in every picture Ganesh appears to be alive.
Because of the faith, this collection of these images was put together to share the arts and to spread the worship of Ganesh to all walks of life.
